You tested your template and your confirm consent links are not working. Why?
- First, verify if your email is a test from the "test mailing" tool or if it is a "real mailing"
To differentiate a "test mailing" from a real mailing", look at the bottom of the email received. If you can see "Your email address is : __Email__" in the footer, it is a mailing test!
In a "test mailing" it's normal that your confirmation links won't work since they are not associated to a member's email. It's probable that you will see the message " We can't identify your demand" when you click on the link.
To learn how to test :
- Did you copy and paste the confirmation links to add them to your template?
Be careful when you copy/paste confirmation links! If it is not done the right way they simply won't work.
Indeed, if you copy and paste a consent confirmation link from a template preview or a mailing you received you change their configuration.
To avoid any type of problem, use in your template our consent blocks who can be added to any premade or basic template or use one of our premade consent template.
